According to Wikipedia, all 435 house seats are up for reelection this year. Go to this link and see the names listed by state and district.
I have been doing research on the financial fiasco. Gregory Meeks, Maxine Walters, Barney Frank have their names all over finance legislation that has created this chaos in the Markets.
As far as I can tell They began patching holes as early as May of 2007.
See
HR 1427, HR 2895, sponsored by Barney Franks.
Maxine Walters sponsored HR3524,
HR2547 sponsored by Albio Sires
H. Con Res.140 sponsored by G. Meeks
And then the big one : 11/4/1999 - The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act - Which started it all.
My question is why didn't this come up earlier, I am amd at myself for not paying attention. It will not happen again.
When it comes to voting in November I suggest a no vote for any incumbent that has anything to do with the finance committee of the house and the sentate.
Of course the well known Fannie Mae donation recipients, Barney Frank, Chriss Dodd and Obama should be top of the list as it smells of corruption.
