Just a thought. Sarah Palin, I like her and would rather have her represent my gender in politics than Hillary or Diane or Nancy. Why? Because she has done it by herself, learned what she needed to know to get where she wanted to go. I did not sense she decided early in life to be a politician, she reacted and found she enjoyed it. She certainly did not marry for gain, she married for love. There is no doubt she earned her own money, and best of all is not afraid to speak her mind.
Her entrance into the field is causing problems for the progressive, equal rights and liberal minded groups because she does not fit thier image of the modern woman. I say, so sorry maybe you need to rethink your identities and values for a change. It could be that you have it all wrong. For me a modern woman should make her own choices based on the issues relevant in her life. The issue of family, career and self are hers alone and should not be determined by someone elses idea of what they should be.
